Adding

  1. In the left hand menu click on RFID Items.
  2. Click 'Add RFID item'.
  3. Use the text field to type the name of your RFID item (e.g. if you had a prop made of cups and saucers, you would call is something like 'Red Cup', etc).
  4. These items are now available to be used as part of WHEN: Values match in Behaviours to trigger actions.
  5. They are immediately available in channels as virtual items to use in **testing.**

Programming

  1. Connect an RFID Master to the network and **Pair.**
  2. Patch your RFID Channels to the reader ports, if you haven't done this already.
  3. Place the tag you which to program on any available reader (if you need help getting the distance correct to get a read, see Connecting RFID Readers to the RFID Master).
  4. In Connect → Select RFID Master → Diagnostics, here you will see an 'Unknown Tag' on the reader it's currently on.
  5. To the right, click the arrow to open a dropdown menu of all your RFID items and click the one you want.
  6. This will assign this item to the tag and this is how it will appear on any reader in the show.
