N.B. In order to use the video functions, you needs to have video imported into your project and a Media Master with video capabilities in your Devices (it can just be virtual). See:Adding boxes, Media Master Device Options
Video Play
This plays a chosen video file. You can:
- Chose the output - this is the device from where the video will play from. You can only play from a video enabled Media Master - if you need to test that the video is playing from the right Media Master but you have not paired it yet see Testing Behaviours)
- Set the size -
- Letterbox fill - creates a letterbox (black bars top & bottom) on the screen
- Cover screen - stretches the video image to fit the screen
- Original - shows the original resolution of the video on whatever screen it is playing on e.g if a 1080p video plays on a 640x640 screen, it will appear zoomed in
- Set the volume - on a slider between 0-100%. This is the volume the file will play at from the start of it playing
- Loop - a checkbox that means when the video file ends, it will loop back to the beginning
Video Pause
This will pause a chosen video file. You can:
- Chose the output - that the video will pause on, which includes all outputs. This is useful if you have the same file playing on multiple devices and you want to chose which ones to pause on, or pause all of them. If an Video play action for this file happens after this point, the file will play from the point it was paused.
Video Stop
This will stop a chosen video file. You can:
- Chose the output - that the video will stop on, which includes all outputs. This is useful if you have the same file playing on multiple devices and you want to chose which ones to stop on, or stop all of them. If an Video play action for this file happens after this point, the file will play from the beginning.
