In order to install COGS, go to account.cogs.show and click on Installations. At the bottom of the page, you will find the recommended computer specifications for the computer that will be running COGS.

You will then find the installers for:

• Windows (64-bit)
• MacOS (Apple Silicon),
• MacOS (Intel),
• Linux (x64),
• Linux (Arm64)

Choose the relevant installer for the operating system of your computer.

Windows

1. Open the .exe
2. Open the app and login with your COGS account email & password
3. When you first create a new project, you’ll be prompted to tick the Windows Defender Firewall settings on which networks to allows COGS through. In order to connect to COGS hardware, you’ll need to ensure COGS is allowed through BOTH public & private networks.

MacOS

1. Open the .dmg
2. When prompted, drag the COGS app into your applications folder
3. Eject the COGS installer
4. Open the app and login with your COGS account email & password
