Motor channels are used to control DC motors in both directions, and vary their speed. They can only be used with the **Motor Master.**
You are able to vary the speed and change the direction as part of your **Update channel** actions.
Adding

- In Channels click Add channel and select Motor.
- Enter a name that you would like to call it.
- You will be presented with the channel view.

Current Direction & Speed
- Current direction - the current state - ⬅, ➡️ and ⏹️. This is controlled by clicking on the directions.
- Current speed - a slider between 0 to 100% which can be manipulated to change the intensity of power and therefore the speed of the motor.
- N.B. this feature is not intended as a way to lower the voltage of the output channel so you can run different voltage motors from the same Motor Master e.g. if you wanted to run a 12v motor from a Motor Master plugged into a 24v PSU. You risk permanent damage to your motors if used in this way
- These values will show the current status of a virtual channel (when testing) or physical channel when patched to hardware.
