In order to control OSC in COGS, you’ll first need to activate OSC within the Project Settings panel, this will then allow you to add destinations, and trigger events vis OSC from COGS or to COGS.

N.B. You need a COGS Pro licence to send or recieve any OSC messages.

Open Sound Control (OSC) is a network messaging protocol commonly used in the theatre and live events industry. It allows different applications and hardware to communicate with each other.

In COGS, OSC can be used to:

• Send messages TO external systems (e.g. QLab, EOS lighting desks).
• Receive messages FROM those systems to trigger behaviours in COGS.

Enabling OSC in COGS

1. Open Show Settings.
2. Scroll down and find the OSC section.
3. Toggle it ON.
4. A new OSC tab will appear in the sidebar.
