COGS allows you to build and run your COGS Plus, Pro or Premium projects from a computer on the local network or over the internet.

N.B. Please note that COGS Lite cannot be accessed remotely, and COGS Plus cannot be accessed over the internet.

Local Area Network access

  1. Create or open your project in COGS
  2. From the menu bar go to File → Settings... → Remote Access or on macOS: COGS → Settings... → Remote Access
  3. Use the "Local Network Access" URL shown on a browser from a computer on the same local network to connect to COGS.

Tip: If your network is private and secure you can disable "Remote access passcode" to shorten URL to make it easier to share/remember.

Remote Internet access

  1. Create or open your project in COGS
  2. In a browser, go to your COGS account
  3. Find the installation you’d like to connect to
  4. Click the remote icon to connect
