Smart Lightbulb channels are used to control Zigbee controlled bulbs, and vary their state, brightness and colour (depending on the type of bulb you’re pairing it with). They can only be used with the Zigbee feature.
You are able to vary the state, brightness and colour as part of your **Update channel** actions.
Adding

- In Channels click Add channel and select Smart Lightbulb.
- Enter a name that you would like to call it.
- You will be presented with the channel view.

Current State, Brightness & Colour
- Current state - Shows the current state of the channel (the box will appear GREY when the channel is OFF, and will turn GREEN when the channel is ON).
- Current brightness - a slider between 0 to 100% which can be manipulated to change the intensity of power and therefore the brightness of the bulb.
- Current Colour - a colour picker giving you control of the colour of the bulb. You can use the eyedropper tool, RGB values, HSL values, or the Hex code to determine your colour.
- These values will show the current status of a virtual channel (when testing) or physical channel when patched to hardware.
