Depending on the requirements of your show, you may need to purchase a license in order to connect your hardware and run your show.

We have 3 license tiers; Lite, Plus & Pro.

Lite License

Ideal for basic escape rooms, isolated props & hobby projects.

Plus License

For most escape rooms & small experiences.

• 2 Simultaneous remote LAN connections

Pro License

Used by ambitious escape rooms & larger experiences.

• Connect up to 50 Masters
• DMX (1 Universe)
• 25 Zigbee channels
• 5 External Plugins
• 3 Simultaneous remote LAN connections
• Remote into a project over the internet - 1 connection
• 1 OSC connection
• 2 MIDI / MSC connections
• 1 TCP connection
• 1 UDP connection

Perpetual Licenses

As well as recurring billing options, it is also possible buy a "perpetual" COGS license, which allows you to purchase a license outright with no recurring fees.

Perpetual licenses can be assigned to a COGS installation that will then be able to use that license indefinitely and without the need to ever go online.

This can be useful for long-term installations that will run for many years, or need to run offline for long periods of time.

COGS versions

When you purchase a perpetual license it is bound to the current major version of COGS (Currently COGS 5).

Major new COGS releases happen infrequently, generally every 2 or 3 years at most.

When the next major version of COGS is announced, there will be upgrade pricing options available so that a new license does not need to be bought outright if you wanted to upgrade to the new version.
