Text Hints are a way to organise and send text hints to your player in your experience, via the Media Master (either with the hardware, or with the Media Master app running on a tablet, mobile, etc). They can also be organised by Scene, so they disappear from the list as Scenes complete.

This is often used for pre-recorded audio hints or sound effects that must be operated manually.

To activate Text Hints, toggle on the Text Hints feature in Show Settings.

• N.B. if you de-activate Text Hints, you will lose all your pre-set text hints. If you do this accidentally, hit Undo. If you restart the project before you do this, the information will be lost.

• Allow custom hints - When this is toggled ON, this will allow your operator to send custom text hints from the text hints tab in the Run view. When this is toggled OFF, your operators will only be able to send the pre-set text hints as determined in this panel during the setup.
• Add new preset hint - Enter your desired hint’s text in this field then press →.

• Settings - click on the text hint to access it’s settings.
  • Text - enter the hint text you would like to display.
• Available during specific scenes - if you check the box, you can add the Scenes which this Text Hint will be available for.
  • This means that when your show is live, this hint will only be shown in the hint list when your chosen Scene or Scenes is/are active.
