The Isolated Breakout allows COGS to connect to Arduino, Raspberry Pi, pre-made props or just detect voltage. It isolates the Digital Master from whatever it is connecting to.
We recommend you watch the Isolated Breakout Tutorial.
The 'to COGS' channels can be attached to a pin of an Arduino or Raspberry Pi or it can be connected to the voltage output of a device e.g. a keypad or pre-made prop that was designed to turn off a maglock.
The 'from COGS' channels can be used to close circuits. This is especially useful to pull a pin high on an Arduino or Raspberry Project in order to communicate with it (e.g. to tell it to reset).
N.B. The Isolated Breakout can be connected to voltage anywhere between 3.3 and 24v.
